Myofascial Release
(MFR) helps eliminate pain and fascial (connective tissue) restrictions from the body, improves range of motion and enhances your body awareness for prevention of further pain and/or injury.
MFR is a hands-on, whole body approach to treatment which evaluates and treats the root cause of the symptoms. The Therapist applies a variety of pressures, from light to deep, in combination with stretch and movement to release tensions and restrictions in the body.
These restrictions, when left untreated, create pain and stiffness of the underlying tissue making it difficult for movement and creating structural changes in the body which may lead to further injury.
Causes of Myofacial restrictions
- trauma, repetitive strain injuries
- stress injury
- Stress
- poor posture from sitting for long periods of time
- scarring from surgery or injury

Hot Stone Therapy (HST)
HST- involves the therapeutic use of stones that have been heated and/or cooled in water. They are then used in combination with other massage techniques and/or placed on specific areas of your body to induce relaxation or stimulate the tissue underneath.
This very relaxing form of treatment can be used to:
- decrease stress
- alleviate tension held within muscle
- allows better sleep
- improves blood circulation and flow of energy
- releases toxins from your body
- promote an overall sense of well being
