Acupuncture and TCM

Developed over 4000 years ago, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) focuses on viewing the patient as a whole to treat and prevent illnesses. TCM practitioners have been extensively trained to identify “patterns of disharmony” which lead to diagnosis and recommendation of treatment specific to the individual.

Treatments typically involve combinations of acupuncture, herbal remedies, massage and dietary and life style counseling. TCM directs its attention to treating the underlying cause of the disease, thus enabling the patient to return to a balanced state of health.

* Acupuncture treatments are covered by most extended health benefit plans. See your plan administrator for details.
